I’m often asked about the effect of personal wishes and desires on dowsing answers. Could it be that the pendulum is simply giving you the answer that you want to see? Are you simply controlling the movement of the pendulum in order to give yourself the answer that you think you want? Well, yes, that is possible. Loved your video which does answer a question I’ve had about influencing the dowsing answer. I’ve always dowsed the same thing for several different days just to be sure. But, I do like the dowsing the questions on paper idea really
well………sometimes when I really need to know if I’m doing the right thing
I double check with my spirit guide and high teacher, which I do by automatic writing.

Hi Anita, you and I do the same thing…I “hire” help from the heavens (which my book is based on) to get more information on a subject and keep my dowsing accurate.
Hi Jean: I’ve been a Dowser for years and I love it. We live in Tucson, AZ and attend the monthly Dowsing meetings, which are the highlight of my month. My husband, Don, had a slight interest in Dowsing but could never get the pendulum to move. Anyway, yesterday we had a dear friend Don visit from Flagstaff and we watched three of Raymon Grace’s DVD and one of Jean Slatters. I looked over at Don, my husband, and there he was doing exactly what Jean was directing. I delighted in his ‘smile’ when I commented how great he was doing. I think now he will be doing it more often. He has been receiving your newsletters for almost a month and watching them. I have a feeling that between his interest, your newsletter and youtube and finally yesterday the other DVD’s, took him into the world of Dowsing. Thank you. Thanks Marilyn, you never know when you will inspire someone. I was inspired to look into dowsing while having a casual conversations with a sales clerk – that was more than 20 years ago and, in many ways, changed the course of my life in amazing ways.

Dear Jean,
I have a question regarding dowsing. There are different ways to dowse and this I know. Do you also do the install and uninstall movements too or just yes and no.
