    Find Your Light of Being/Doing

    Being Exercise

    In this powerful exercise, you will receive the blessing of recognizing your core essence, your “Being”, which are the unique gifts of the Light of your Soul. These are not qualities that you’ve earned or worked hard for; these gifts came with you. You will be discovering the qualities of your unique Light and this is not a time to deny that Light with inappropriate humility. Your Light is nothing short of magnificent and glorious. To deny that is to deny the divine energy within you which will not serve your purpose for being.

    To get in touch with your core essence /your being, get comfortable in a seated position and take a few deep, centering breaths. Enjoy the following exercise:

    Place both hands on your heart. Call on the members of your High Council for guidance and answers. Ask them to “whisper” the answer to the following question so that you can clearly “hear” it:

    “What is the gift of Light that is my being, my core essence?”

    Then simply listen for anything that comes to mind. It may be a feeling, a sense, a word, an image, or some other kind of answer. Write down what you receive in your Higher Guidance Journal.

    You may want to do this exercise or ask the question many times. Just remember not to force anything. The fact that you’ve initiated the question will open up answers that may come from many different sources. For example, a close friend may volunteer that they have “always loved your sense of beauty and style.” You’ll know that you’ve hit on a core essence or “being” answer when you feel a sense of awe and gratitude for being you. This is not a time for false modesty or humility. In fact it is in honoring and accepting our gifts that we see and express our brilliance.

    Doing Exercise

    In this powerful exercise, you will receive the blessing of recognizing the gifts of your “Doing”, what it is that you do with the energy of your core essence. Again, these qualities are effortless for you. For example, someone with the gift of organizing doesn’t find that challenging; in fact their very energy coming into the room may automatically bring order to a chaotic situation. These are qualities that most people would use to describe you. Our gifts of “doing” also become our “being” because they are halves of the same whole.

    Get comfortable in a seated position and take a few deep, centering breaths.

    Place both hands on your head. Call on the members of your High Council for guidance and answers. Ask them to “whisper” the answer to the following question so that you can clearly “hear” it:

    “What is the gift of Light that is my doing, my expression?”

    Then simply listen for anything that comes to mind. It may be a feeling, a sense, a word an image or some other kind of answer. Write down what you receive in your Higher Guidance Journal.

    Remember not to feel any pressure to have an answer, just allow and receive. You may want to do this exercise periodically or several times (you don’t have to get it all with the first session.) You can also ask a friend to give you feedback. Ask them, “What is it that I always do, that I can’t NOT do?” You’ll know that you’ve hit the right answer because you’ll see that you’ve always done that. It’s what you bring to the table because it’s a quality unique to you.

    As you live this earth life your gifts of your Soul’s characteristics will continue to be revealed to you. How? You will begin to recognize the unique quality of Light energy that is you by what you bring to every situation in your life.  In fact, you cannot help but do that because it is who you are. Your experience is reflected back to God through your unique facets of God’ Light of which you were made.

    The purpose for which you were created shines in your Light.

     

  • Learn from the Rose

    Learn from the Rose

    When we plant a rose seed in the earth we notice that it is small, but we do not criticize it as “rootless” and “stemless.”  We treat it as a seed, giving it the water and nourishment required of a seed. When it first shoots out of the earth we don’t condemn it as “immature” and “underdeveloped”; nor do we criticize the buds for not being open when they appear. We stand in wonder at the process taking place and give the plant the care that it needs at each stage of its growth. The rose is a rose from the time it is a seed to the time that it dies. Within it, at all times, it contains its whole potential. It seems to be constantly in the process of change; yet at each state, at each moment, it is perfectly all right as it is.

    We are progressing perfectly as planned and there is nothing inherently flawed about the human experience.

    So why does it take so long to grow in consciousness?  Well, when you’ve got an eternity what else are you going to do?

     

  • Your Core Essence

    Let me confess that I’m a self-help junkie.  I love awe-inspiring books and have certainly read my share but nothing compares to receiving your own answers directly from your Divine wisdom within. You have volumes of self-help books within you just waiting to reveal insights that are relevant to every issue you face.

    Think for a moment about what your core essence is – what are the specials gifts that you have and that you are? The words that you come up with will be describing your Soul. Identifying this unique expression of your Soul’s Light energy is one of the most comforting and empowering realizations that you will ever have in your life because it will help you to know what you’re here to do.

    The fact is there is no one else who can shine the Light of your Soul exactly the way that you do. Just like the sun, the rays of light emanate from the same powerful source but they are unique rays, nonetheless. If your “ray” is missing, then the full spectrum of light isn’t manifest.

    In a nutshell, your job here on earth is to shine the Light of your Soul!

    Knowing who you truly are (and what the Light of your Soul is!) will help you reclaim and resurrect a part of yourself that might be lost.

     

  • Your Soul has a Plan

    Do you believe everything that happens in your life is according to a divine plan? If so, to what extent? Is every detail planned or just a general direction? Is life a predestination, or are we making it up as we go along?

    My Guidance says there are many choices the Soul makes for the character-self to facilitate the design of an experience. (Remember my blog post about Heaven’s Kitchen?) This implies a plan. But not everything can be chosen! Not everything is known! What fun would that be if it was all predestination?

    The Soul has agreed to play by the rules of the Earth experience, and this includes taking your chance with what Nature has to offer. For example, the Soul cannot know the exact chance genetic makeup of the physical body for its character-self.

    We are a marriage of the animal nature of this dimension and the Soul’s plan. Each incarnation is new and exciting because you never know what you’re going to get! You are a surprise to yourself each time you incarnate. Discovering who you are in each lifetime is a big part of the fun. Nanosecond to nanosecond from this point on, the challenge will be how to create an experience that will explore your original intention with the combination of your chosen parameters and chance makeup from Nature.

  • Know Thyself

    PEOPLE TRAVEL TO WONDER

    It’s important that you understand how you, as a spiritual being, came to be in a human body. You need to discover your spiritual birthright and “know thyself” at the deepest level. Many of the things I have been writing about may challenge popular belief and at some point you’re going to wonder where I am getting my information.

    I find my answers within and my greatest hope is that I can show you how to receive your own answers as well. The time has come for each of us to access God directly, without separation. Deepak Chopra says our awareness of the divine nature within each of us is “hard wired”.

    The desire to explore the questions of the mystics is also “hard wired” as evident in our yearning for meaning and purpose. I can tell you with 100% confidence that you will not find the answers you seek in dogma, religion or through a guru. How do I know this? Because truly, YOU are the answer.

    For centuries, organized religions have used fear to suppress our knowledge that we are intuitive and spirituality connected beings. We were told that our very salvation depended upon giving our power over to the church and its representatives since we were inherently sinful and flawed.

    Having direct access to God and our higher guidance was considered sacrilegious, heretical and in many cases, punishable by death. Hundreds of thousands of men and women were burned at the stake for listening to their intuition and “knowing things” that couldn’t be explained with traditional reasoning. But like a phoenix rising from the ashes it’s time to feel your wings – the wings you were born with.

     

  • You Are On Purpose

    The idea that we have a unique purpose for our lives is pervasive and this idea has motivated us throughout time to define an answer. My friend Dayana, who converses with a group of spiritual beings named AMAG, offers another way to look upon this question.

    AMAG says, rather than searching for your purpose, know that you have come here on purpose and as such you decide your purpose.

    From this perspective, everything you do, everything you are, IS your purpose! You have come here on purpose to shine your unique Light and you cannot fail to do so. The book, “You Are God, Get Over It!” says you cannot help your unfolding – it is certain and, I will add, on purpose. Knowing we are on purpose is reassuring but it also helps for us to define our unique Light so we are more consciously aware of this purpose.

     

  • Heaven’s Kitchen

    I have a confession to make.  I am obsessed with cookbooks.  I collect only the ones with pictures and read them almost like a novel.  I love looking at all the possible combinations and exquisite creations. I wonder what each recipe will actually taste like compared to the picture. Will it be as good as it looks; what will the texture be like; what other foods would complement it; will my family and friends like it?

    There’s work in preparing a dish, but that’s also part of the enjoyment. Effort and thought has to be put into the planning and shopping, picking the perfect complement and the presentation. It’s wonderful to anticipate the satisfaction of the meal itself…seeing friends and family enjoy a great creation (well, ok, not every dish is a hit). Although I’ll admit cleanup is not one of my favorite activities, it is still part of completing the experience.

    What do recipes have to do with being a Creative Mystic?

    I believe a good analogy can be made between a cook contemplating a recipe and your soul contemplating the creation of an experience. Just as a cook researches and plans for a new dish, your soul has to decide what type of “dish” – or experience – to make before we incarnate. This has to be extremely exciting… can you imagine stepping into heaven’s kitchen and cookbook library and looking at all the pictures of possible creations for earth before deciding which “dish” you would like to make for this lifetime? What an awesome kitchen to be in! Each soul has access to this incredible library through the power of Ultimate Grace.

  • Admit How Powerful You Are

    My Guidance says the vast majority of the world’s population is uncomfortable with the idea that we are creators. Unknowingly at an unconscious level most would rather hold to the premise that we are powerless and a victim to the process of life. Let me explain.

    First, if we let go of the belief that we are powerless we would then have to admit just how powerful we truly are. The idea that we are powerful creators of our lives is quite scary.  We prefer, instead, a false sense of comfort and safety believing that we have little influence over what happens to us – a victim in other words, which provides a convenient excuse to hide behind.

    As Marianne Williamson expressed so beautifully in her poem:

    “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure.”

    If God is the creator of this reality and “all-that-is” then God is experiencing through you, as you. Doesn’t that make you powerful beyond measure? That’s a lot to chew on.

     

  • Who Am I?

    I believe that it is our spiritual responsibility to discover who we are and what we are here to do. It may sound mysterious but we are to discover the “I AM” Presence within each of us and it is the one of the most profound experiences we can ever have. Although it can take a lifetime, no other joy can be experienced with such depth as the realization of our Divinity.

    The discovery and acceptance of I AM instantly leads to the discovery and complete acceptance of all that IS.  Again, this may sound mysterious but there is no mistaking the occurrence of this transformation. How will you know? The struggle of life and all the “shoulda, woulda, coulda’s” are replaced with a peace and excitement that are your reward and the joy becomes exponential.  The experience is limitless and boundless.
