  • What is your Soul?

    What is your Soul?

Have you ever wondered what exactly your Soul is? Many people believe that we have a soul but rarely question what it is or how it came to be. There are some very fuzzy and ambiguous thoughts around what the Soul is. When I asked my Higher Guidance about the Soul I received a very interesting answer.

The Soul is actually a unique individuated aspect of God specifically created to explore a thought form. Stay with me as we clarify more about this and you’ll see why it’s important to know about your Soul.

God is All That Is and in order for God to have an experience there had to be the creation of a something other than All That Is for a point of reference. This idea is discussed at length in the book Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch.

For the purpose of experiencing, Souls are “created” as an individuated and unique aspect of God. Each Soul is imbued with characteristics of God specifically to explore the experience that God wants to know about.  Some of these characteristics are what we would commonly recognize: compassion, logic, empathy, leadership, etc.  Some of these characteristics are not so commonly recognized, and in fact, may not be recognizable by us in our conscious human awareness.  The combination of these characteristics in the Soul is infinitely unique just as each individual human is infinitely unique.

Think of sunlight as an analogy of the Light that God shines. Each Soul would be a ray from infinite spectrum of Light of God and would have a distinctive color, quality or expression from this Source. We often hear expressions like, “shine your light” or “don’t hide your light under a bushel”, which are really references to the Light of your Soul.

  • It’s a dream world

    It’s a dream world

Have you ever had a dream that was so incredibly rich with feeling and emotion that it actually seemed real?

I love it when I dream. Some of my dreams have provided logical answers about issues I have had in my waking life and some have been extraordinary fantasies that don’t seem to be grounded in any reality I know of.  I have even had the experience of being aware that while I was dreaming a vivid dream, I was both sleeping and watching my dream at the same time.

Many people believe that dreams are just a brilliant fabrication of our consciousness.  Yet what if there are parts of ourselves that are actually having legitimate dream time experiences?  It’s fascinating to consider, don’t you think?  All we know for certain about our dream state is that we don’t physically go anywhere.  Everything is happening in the mind.

    Dream World

Could it be possible that all of life is a dream within the Mind of God?  Shamans use this analogy and say that what we term real life is actually a dream. Quantum physicists believe this is closer to the truth of reality. A wonderful book to read on this subject is The Field by Lynne McTaggart. This book along with many others is showing that everything is energy and that our illusion of matter is being played out on a multidimensional screen called the “field”.

I believe that we are Creators of experience and our opportunity to create is carried out in the unlimited, unbounded consciousness of God. Any experience that the mind of God can imagine is being brought to life. There have been no limits to what can be explored nor could/should there be. The boundless dream world in the mind of God is running non-stop from the beginning of time to infinity.  If it exists in this reality it is because the mind of God dreamed it.

    Our Opportunity to Create

Imagine what fun it would be to design and create your dreams before you drifted off to sleep each night.  Where would you like to go?  What would you like to be?  What emotions would you like to feel?  The possibilities are endless.  You can sail the high seas as a one-eyed pirate or rob a bank and get away with it.  It would be as if a genie gave you a special power to safely experience any adventure or drama that you would like to create.

    Forgotten it’s a Dream

But here is the conundrum:  It’s hard to fully experience what it’s like to be chased by a tiger when you know that it isn’t ‘real’.  The tiger is an illusion.  Who you are in the dream is an illusion.  And soon enough the real you will wake up and discover that none of it actually happened.  So, the question is:  how can you make it “real” to yourself?

Well clever you! Turns out you thought of a way to “forget” so that you can be totally enmeshed in the experience. You have fallen asleep to who you really are on purpose so that you can be fully engaged in the illusion. Thus, the dream will seem very real indeed. This is how, I believe, that we are able to have innumerable lifetimes and yet not remember them.

Life is certainly entertaining, isn’t it?

Is it possible that all of our experiences are being carried out in the imagination/mind/dreams of an infinite being? Understanding how all of this happens has been pondered by the most brilliant of minds of science and poets throughout history and we whereas we may think we have come up with some plausible explanations we may also find out in the end that we haven’t a clue.

  • Living from a different perspective…

    Living from a different perspective…

We are Creators of experience and we are the Observer of the experience. What a precious and exquisite opportunity to be conscious of our creation and the Observer of it. When you realize the gift of life that you have been given your life is lived from a new perspective that continually honors everything that shows up – without exception. Magic and serendipity are omnipresent and awe is in every moment.

  • What are you an extension of?

What are you an extension of?

Quantum physicists are proving that we live in a holographic universe.

Let’s use the analogy of a human body and notice that within the body are individuated cells much the same as individuated aspects of God in the body of reality. Even though each human cell contains the code of the entire human body, the cell has been limited or “assigned” to carry out a certain function such as being a liver cell or a skin cell. Each cell in our human body is contributing to the whole. In the same way, each component and Soul of this reality is contributing to the whole of God.

Similarly to a group of body cells working together to be a liver or brain or skin, your Soul group works together in this reality to explore an “I wonder….” thought of the Creator’s.

  • What would you do if this was it?

What would you do if this was it?

I believe we have come to an extraordinary point in the evolution of our consciousness where we are ready to awaken from a fundamental delusion. We are ready to awaken to the truth of who we are – powerful creators of experience.

We came from God and have, by divine design, created this life on purpose.  There is no other place to get to.  This is it.  Life IS a divine spiritual experience and truly the spirit in us knows there is no place else that we would rather be.

Do we evolve in consciousness and have the experience of learning? Of course we do, but this is not the primary purpose of our existence. As a creator, learning becomes the natural by-product or symptom of creating.

Have we finally reached the point in our evolution where we are ready to let go of the delusion that we are separate from God and claim our true divine nature and authority as Creators?  How would this perspective change your life?

  • Playing the Part

    Playing the Part

From the human perspective we can judge right and wrong thoughts, but ultimately from the God level there is only experience.  There is no right and no wrong, no inferior and no superior, and no inappropriate desire.

When I first came to this realization, my guidance directed me to a card that read:

“This reality (illusion) is a collaboration of all actors playing their parts and its success is measured by the degree to which each member is inspired and devoted in his or her contribution.”

The closest truth is that we are a play of Light on a three-dimensional screen for the purpose of experience. This is God’s movie! If, in this movie we need a hero, for example, well… how can we have a hero without a villain?  How can anyone experience being the hero if there is nothing and no one to rescue and no one to fight against?

From the human point of view (the one who is fully engaged in the experience), do atrocious acts such as murder, theft, abuse, etc., seem wrong?  Absolutely! We are outraged and perhaps this is what inspires the hero in all of us.  To right the wrongs, fight for freedom and do the right thing.  There is no need to give up this duality because it is precisely how an experience is designed. Let us all be inspired and devoted in our contribution to the experience.

Duality is the name of the game on the earth dimension but what about when the human body dies? What about our Soul?

  • Are there limitations to our creations?

Are there limitations to our creations?

We are here to be creators of experience. In fact, we are extensions of God here having an earthly experience.

This is such a wonderful and empowering concept, but nonetheless, I wondered if there were limitations to our creations. Can we, in fact, have desires that are so outlandish they could be deemed as unacceptable? When we have a desire or something that we want, is there such a thing as an inappropriate desire?

For example, it is possible to ask out of greed or selfishness?  And, since we are God, are we saying that God is greedy, inappropriate, or selfish?

My Higher Guidance responded through my pendulum that I could receive the answer from an oracle, the OHSO ZEN Tarot. When I pulled the card it said:

“There is nobody who is superior and nobody who is inferior in existence.  There is no thought or desire that is superior or inferior.  All complexity arises out of the fight to be superior.  The innocent person has given up this fight, and the disappearance of the “I” is that innocence.”

This profound message meant that all is God; there is nothing else.

  • Guess who you are carrying around with you?

Guess who you are carrying around with you?

You are carrying God with you and it is God that is seeing through your eyes, hearing through your ears, touching with your hands – experiencing through YOU!  God has not marooned your Soul here on earth, punishing you in a human body and waiting for you to return. How could that be since your very existence was the creation of God’s in the first place?

Think of the ocean, and a drop of water from that ocean.   Are they both water? Of course. Is the drop of water the ocean? Of course not. In the same way, we are a drop of God.  We’re not here to earn our worthiness and prove that we are God (because we already are); we are here to have the experience of being human and express God through us.

  • You must live it to know the truth of it…

You must live it to know the truth of it…

We created this life on purpose, and that it is exactly where we want to be, and it is exactly what we intended to create.

From this perspective you can look at your life and all of those around yourself from the awareness that each of us designed our lives for the express purpose of knowing the truth of something.

We tend to place a value on life’s expression saying one is good and another is not. But all-is-God, period. Each life is a deliberate creation of God regardless of the value judgment we may attempt to apply. Our lives are an infinite expression of desired experiences of God. After all, as creators how else are you going to know the truth of something except to live it?
